How to register an account on Oota Box

Click on the profile icon in the top right corner of your screen.

On the screen, click on the signup link in green.

Type in a username of your choice, do not use any special characters in this field.

Type in your email address. This will be the primary email address that you will be using going forward.

Type in a strong password. Your password should be at least 8 characters long and should contain a number and a special character.

After reading our Terms and conditions, click on the checkbox I agree to the terms and conditions.

Click on the Signup button

If there are no errors in the previous step. Check your email and type in the confirmation code that has been sent to it.

Click on the Submit button to verify your account and finish the registration process.

That’s it. Congratulations! Your account is now registered on Oota Box. As an optional step, you can click on the Complete Profile option and fill in some additional details about yourself. *While completing your profile, you click on Save Changes to pause updating your profile and resume it later.

Click on the upload option to upload an avatar or profile picture that will be publicly displayed on Oota Box. *This image should not be more than 2MB.

Click on the upload option to upload a cover picture that will be publicly displayed on your Oota Box profile. *This image should not be more than 2MB.

After uploading both the images, click on the Next Step button.

Type in your address. This field will auto-suggest a matching address from google maps.

In case, Google is not able to find your address in the above step, you can use the Geolocate my address option to automatically detect your current location. Click on Allow in the permission pop-up that will appear on your screen. If you click Block, your current location will not be made available.

Once the address is entered, click on Next Step to proceed.

Type in a short one-line description of yourself. *This field only allows 80 characters.

Click on the Save Changes button to update your profile.

Click on View Your Profile to view your updated profile.

That’s it, your profile is now fully ready. If you’ve updated all the information, your profile should look similar to the one below. At any point during the registration process, if you need assistance, write to us on support@ootabox.com
